We collect information about how you interact with the app:

• Chat messages (encrypted end-to-end where applicable)
• Timestamps of messages and interactions
• Features you use (search, voice, video, etc.)
• User engagement metrics (aggregated and anonymized)

Device & Technical Data

To provide and improve our services, we collect:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and crash reports
• IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
• Device identifiers (IDFA, Android ID for analytics)
• Location data (only if you permit geolocation features)

Guest Accounts

If you use the app without creating an account, we collect minimal data: device identifier, session duration, and feature usage only.

AI-Powered Features

Anon Friends uses AI for content moderation and personalized recommendations. When you interact with AI features:

Supabase Database

Hosts encrypted user data and message metadata. Data is processed according to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Firebase Services

• Firebase Crashlytics: Reports app crashes and errors
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications

Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In

Authentication is handled by Google and Apple. We receive only your email and basic profile info. See their privacy policies for details.

OpenRouter AI API

For AI-powered moderation and recommendations. Messages sent to the API are not used for model training. See OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.
