1. Introduction

At Anon Friends ("app", "we", "us", or "our"), we take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use our application, how this data is used, stored, and protected.

This policy has been prepared in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) of Turkey, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other applicable legislation.

• Age and gender (optional)

2.2 Usage Data

• Anonymous chat messages
• In-app interactions
• Friend connections

2.3 Device and Technical Information

• Device model and operating system
• IP address
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) notification tokens
• App version

2.4 Guest (Anonymous) Accounts

Anon Friends offers users the ability to use the app completely anonymously. For users who log in with guest accounts:

• No personally identifiable information (email, phone, social media account) is collected
• A unique user ID is automatically assigned
• Data is only associated with the in-app identifier

3. AI-Powered Features

Our application includes AI-powered features. These features:

• Are used to enrich the anonymous chat experience
• Process user queries to generate responses
• Provide a personalized chat experience

4. Purpose of Data Use

The collected data is used for the following purposes:

• Providing and improving application services
• Personalizing user experience
• Operating anonymous chat features
• Resolving technical issues
• Security and fraud prevention
• Sending push notifications

5. Data Retention Periods

Anonymous chat sessions are automatically deleted after 7 days. When a user deletes their account, all personal data is permanently deleted.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

Your data may be shared with the following third-party service providers:

6.1 Supabase (Database)

• Storage of user profiles and chat messages
• Data processing location: EU and USA

6.2 Firebase (Google)

• Analytics and usage statistics
• Crash reporting (Crashlytics)
• Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

6.3 Authentication Providers

• Google Sign-In (optional)
• Apple Sign-In (optional)

These providers have their own privacy policies.

6.4 OpenRouter (AI Chat Processing)

• Chat messages are processed by AI services for matching and response generation
• No personally identifiable information is sent to AI services
• Data processing is subject to OpenRouter's privacy policy

7. Your KVKK and GDPR Rights

Under KVKK and GDPR, you have the following rights:

7.1 Right to Access

You can learn what data is being processed about you.

7.2 Right to Rectification

You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

7.3 Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

You can delete your account and all your data. This can be done from Profile > Settings > Delete Account in the app.

7.4 Right to Data Portability

You can request your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

7.5 Right to Object

You can object to the processing of your data.

8. Data Security

We take the following measures to ensure the security of your data:

• Data transmission with SSL/TLS encryption
• Database-level encryption
• Role-based access control (RLS)
• Regular security audits

9. Children's Privacy

Anon Friends is designed for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete that data immediately.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified to users via in-app notifications or email.
